Preparatory posture:
After the exercise of inhaling O2 by exhaling Co2 through your mouth being done 30 times, the tips of your thumbs and forefingers are touched each other respectively to form a similar circle and place them on the navel place which your belly button is regarded as the center. Close your eyes. Relax your body and mind. Put down your chest and belly. Close your mouth. The tip of your tongue touches the upper jaw gently.

Stage 1: The Method of Belly (Diaphragm)-Type Breath
Inhale deeply into the pubic region through the nostrils gently and protrude your belly which your belly button is regarded as the center. When breathing in, add some strength in the navel place. All of your attention and idea are absorbed in breathing in there.
Exhale through the nostrils gently and contract your belly a little which your belly button is regarded as the center.

p.s.
The practice of exhaling and inhaling should be done 50 times respectively.
Stage 2: The Method of Gathering Energy in the Pubic region
When inhaling, protrude your belly with the pubic region filled with oxygen and all of your attention is concentrated there.
When exhaling, relax your pubic region naturally, you are not allowed to contract your belly.

This kind of gathering Chi energy through the nostrils put your pubic region in an energy-stored state, which give you the feeling of slight warmth and abundant vitality.

The exercise can accumulate the energy in the pubic region of lower abdomen slowly, activate the nerve cells of lower abdomen, adjust the physiological hormone of endocrine and increase the electric activity of the organism’ cells. The energetic element of the life entities can be accumulated gradually through the cultivation, gathering and storage of the energy. To form a habit of practicing the exercise is a great help to stabilize your spirit. It also can make one more energetic and vigorous.

This exercise and that of inhaling O2 by exhaling Co2 through your mouth are complementary. The result would be better if both of them are done together. It is necessary to conduct simple movements for finishing the exercise if these two exercises are done alone. The simple movements for finishing the exercise includes inhaling deeply three times, conserving Chi energy in the pubic region, rubbing the face with hands, patting the head and activating the limbs. After finishing all of these movements, you may end your exercise.

To end the exercise without conducting movements for finishing it, or be frightened when doing the exercise may cause you to suffer from a headache or sudden pains in chest.
